Jacki Lawson

Jacqueline Lawson is a survivor of emotional abuse and an advocate for bringing awareness to a form of abuse that is often overlooked -- silence.

Through her personal journey of pain, faith, and healing, she has learned that silence can wound just as deeply as words.

After breaking free from a twenty-year marriage marked by emotional neglect, Jacqueline found strength in journaling and faith. Her story of resilience inspired her memoir Breaking Free From the Mirage: Unmasking the Abuse Hidden in Silence, written to help others recognize, heal, and rise from what once broke them.

As the founder of Silence 2 Sound, Jacki created a platform to validate survivors, educate communities, and spark conversations about the hidden impact of silence used as control.

Her work focuses on helping individuals recognize unhealthy patterns, rebuild self-trust, and move forward without shame.

Jacki is not a licensed therapist. She is a survivor with testimony, courage, and a commitment to turning silence into strength.

Through her writing, speaking, and limited radio series, she continues to empower others to see clearly, speak boldly, and break free from the mirage.

When she's not writing, Jacqueline enjoys serving in her church, spending time with her family, and finding peace in her garden.
